Swineshead Enhancement Society

We are pleased to announce that an information board has been erected at the Sandholes (Duck Ponds), in Coles Lane. This provides information on the natural phenomenon and the flora and fauna found there.

The Sandholes, are a popular spot for residents. In particular for young children. It's hoped that the sign will be entertaining and educational.

Thanks to the Swineshead Enhancement Society for raising the funds and to the Bicker Trust for their kind contribution.

Thanks also to Councillor Andy Lawrence, Councillor Roger Welberry (Pictured) and Simon Webster (Holme Farm) for installing the sign and finally, Jack Cunnington (Smoke Screen) for the design and artwork
