MINUTES FOR THE ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
Monday 13th May 2019
Meeting started 19.00
1 Minutes of the last meeting, held on 14th May 2018, to be approved as minutes.
It was resolved to accept the above minutes, which were confirmed and signed by the Chairman
2 Chairman’s report
The chairman welcomed the new Parish Councillors, George, Nicholas and Chelcei and congratulated George and Chelcei on being elected onto Boston Borough Council.
I have enjoyed my two years as chair and greatly appreciate the support shown to me from all the Councillors
The role of Parish Councillor is not just attending a meeting once a month. Small jobs around the village are undertaken by the councillors to enhance the up keep of the village and a thank you to all of you who have contributed your time and effort. I wish my successor all the best.
As my last duty I would like to present 3 certificates for Services to Swineshead Village as a thank you from the Parish Council for their voluntary help.
Nick Fox for collecting litter in the village and Lee and Janet Harper for their time setting up and running for six years a successful Youth Group.
3 To receive and accept accounts from the following Swineshead charities and organisations: Swineshead Life, John Butler Charity, Swineshead Poor Charity, Village Hall Committee, Harlock’s Charity, Swineshead Enhancement Society and Swineshead Twinning Association.

John Butler Charity - None Received
Swineshead Poor Charity – Cllr MWS presented the accounts for Swineshead Poor Charity. These were proposed by Cllr KC, seconded by Cllr RH and all other Councillors were in agreement.
Village Hall Committee – None Received
Harlock’s Charity, Cllr KC presented the accounts for the Harlock’s Charity. These were proposed by Cllr KO, seconded by Cllr CS and all other Councillors were in agreement.
Swineshead Enhancement Society - None Received
Swineshead Twinning Association - None Received
4 To review council representatives for charity and organisation committees and agree on council representatives of each committee for 2019/20
